Emma Kolb Sheboygan Press April 15, 1969

Mrs. Emma Kolb, 92, of Cleveland, died Monday at her home. The former Emma Henriette Vogel was born in the town of Centerville on March 28, 1877 a daughter of the late Richard and Pauline Lutze Vogel. On Nov 21, 1900, she was married to Fred Kolb. The couple resided in Sheboygan for five years prior to moving to the town of Centerville where Mr. Kolb was a blacksmith. He died July 27, 1947. Mrs. Kolb was a member of St. John's and St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cleveland, and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include one son, Clarence Kolb, with whom she had made her residence; one granddaughter and one great granddaughter and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Sommer of the town of Mosel and Mfrs. Olga Petherick of Milwaukee. Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland with the Rev. Henry F. Koch, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Saxon Cemetery, town of Centerville.
