Holdorf, Vilas W. Vilas W. Holdorf, 81, of rural Chilton, passed away Friday morning, August 31, 1990 at
Calumet Medical Center, Chilton. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Tuesday at
Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders. Rev. Carl Peters will officiate with burial
to follow at Streckert Cemetery.
He was born April 26, 1909 at St. Nazianz, son of the late William and Annie Busse
Holdorf. He attended St. Nazianz schools. He was a fox fur breeder and retired from
the construction business. He married Elsie Streckert on July 12, 1941 at Iowa. He
was a member of the Fox Breeders Association.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Mabel Holdorf of
Manitowoc; one sister and brother-in-law, Mrs. Adeline Busse of Kiel, special
nephews, Lowell Holdorf and Bub Busse; other relatives and friends. He was
preceded in death by his wife and an infant sister. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Tuesday from 1 pm until the time of service.
