A native and lifetime New Britain resident, he was the husband of Carol (Pasco) Radil. He had worked at Pratt & Whitney Small Tools, West Hartford, for 17 years, and later was a custodian for the Berlin School System for 20 years, retiring in 1992. Mr. Radil was a graduate of New Britain High School, Class of 1946, and was a peacetime U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific. Besides his wife, Carol, he is survived by his son and daughter- in-law, Robert and Ann Radil of New Haven; his son, David Radil of Bristol; his daughter, Christine Radil of New Britain; his sister, Mrs. Marilyn Cade of Old Saybrook; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
