Karl A. Mueller, age 76, of 2122 32nd St., Two Rivers, died early Friday, March 25, 2005 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Karl was born Feb. 26, 1929 in Monroe, Wis., a son of the late Arthur and Evelyn (Heath) Mueller. He was educated in Monroe, graduating from Monroe High School with the class of 1947. On March 11, 1974, Karl married the former Emily (Bubb) Wuestenhagen at Grace Congregational Church in Two Rivers. Together the couple owned and operated Mueller's Auction Service and Estate Sales of Northeim and Rockwood for many years. After his retirement, Karl and Emily enjoyed working and making new friends at Subway of Two Rivers. He was a longtime member of Grace Congregational Church, past member of the Two Rivers Lions Club and former member of the Two Rivers Jaycees, where he was a past president. He was also a member and past exalted ruler of the Two Rivers Elks Lodge # 1380. Karl enjoyed playing cards, coordinating estate sales and in his younger days, enjoyed bowling and pheasant hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Emily; four sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Lori Mueller of Rochester, N.Y., Michael and Peggy Mueller, Manitowoc, William and Sue Mueller, Fox Point, John Mueller and his wife, Jodi Fowler, Hollandale, WI; three daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia and Dana Andrews, Manitowoc, Sharon Mueller, Madison, and Mary Jo Maule, Dodgeville; five grandchildren, Scott LeCoque, Nicholas Mueller and fiance, Becky Nyenhuis, Kaitlyn Jo Maule, Jonathon Mueller and Nicole Mueller. He is further survived by one brother and two sisters-in-law, Dexter and Cristine Mueller, Verona, Wis., and Hazel Schram, Plymouth, the mother of his children, Lois (Eldon) Hird, Dodgeville, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and a loving family pet, "Jamie". He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Wendy Mueller, and two brothers-in-law, Norbert Schram and Selby Bubb.

Relatives and friends may call at Grace Congregational Church, Two Rivers, after 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2005 until the time of service at 2 p.m. There will be no visitation this evening.

Memorials may be made to Grace Congregational Church.
