Gibbon, Neb., Mar. 9 - Mrs. Nellie Inez Kenton, 71, died early Friday morning at her home in Kearney, following an illness of the past six months. She was born Feb. 4, 1875. The Kenton family formerly lived southwest of Gibbon but moved to Kearney five and one-half years ago.

Surviving are her husband, J. N. Kenton, three sons, Burton and Wayne of Gibbon and Arthur of Dix, one daughter, Mrs. Mae Applegate of Craigmont, Ida., three sisters and two brothers. Two sons, Lewellyn and Melvin, and a daughter, Helen, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Methodist church at Kearney, with the pastor, Rev. Charles B. Hankins, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery at Gibbon.
