Helen Virginia Booze Brewbaker, 99, of Buchanan, passed away Friday, August 17, 2007. Mrs. Brewbaker was a lifetime member and Sunday School Teacher of Springwood Baptist Church. She was the last surviving child of 10 of the late Gilbert and Sally Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Moorman Brewbaker. Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Ann Brewbaker Scott Stinnett and husband, Donald of Glen Allen, Harriett Brewbaker Francis of Buchanan; son, William Gilbert Brewbaker and wife, Marilyn of Buchanan; grandchildren, Susan, Richard, Marty, Michael, and Deirdre; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Kelly, Emma Kate, Autumn, Devin, Matthew, and Nicole. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2007 in Springwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harold E. Cook, Jr. and Rev. Guy A. Ritter officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund of Springwood Baptist Church, 134 Copps Hill Road, Buchanan, VA 24066. The family will receive friends Sunday (8/19) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, 14920 Lee Highway, 254-3000.
