Orville J. Reichardt, 65, of 10909 Wilke Lake Road, Kiel, died Monday afternoon at Holy Family Medical Center in Manitowoc, where he had been a patient the past week.

Mr. Reichardt was born April 5, 1920, in the town of Schleswig, son of Norbert and Mary Buchholz Reichardt. He attended Hillside Grove School in the town of Schleswig.

On June 9, 1945 he and Erna Meyer were married at St. Ann Catholic church in St. Anna. The couple lived at Wilke Lake following marriage.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Quinney Fishing Club. Bricklayers Union Local 11, and the Kiel Redmen.

He is survived by his wife.

The funeral will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. The Rev. James Sizelove, pastor of Bethlehem United Church of Christ in the town of Schleswig will officiate. Entombment well in at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc.
