Born in Oak Grove but lived most of her life in Milwaukie and Portland, with short stays in Oakland, Norfolk, and Newport, RI during WWII, to be with Wesley when his U.S. Navy ship came into port. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, devoted to her children and family members. She was a prodigious letter writer, keeping in constant touch with family and friends. A long time member of the Tabernacle Seventh Day Adventist Church, she was always true to her faith, which sustained her through out her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Sr.; and daughter, Joanie.
She is survived by sons, Wesley Jr. and Joel and their spouses; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. There will be no public service. The immediate family will have a private ceremony on her internment at Wilhelm's Memorial Funeral Home.
