KILLED IN AUTO CRASH AT WHITELAW
WHITELAW (Special) – One of Manitowoc County's worst traffic accidents in years took the lives of three people on Highway 10 here early today.
Killed in a two-car head-on crash were:
Mrs. Joseph Stuiber, 59, Whitelaw
Leo Lemberger, 31, Whitelaw
Kermit Goehring, 31, Clarks Mills.
Although there were no actual witnesses to the accident, Manitowoc County traffic officers reported that the westbound Goehring car was in the wrong lane when the autos collided at the western edge of the village about 2:10 a.m.
Lemberger, father of three young children, and eastbound on the road, was taking Mrs. Stuiber to her nearby home in the village. The dead woman, an aunt of Lemberger's wife, had been baby sitting with children of the young couple.


Leo Lemberger, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lemberger, Manitowoc, was born in Whitelaw, Dec. 31, 1923.
A World War II veteran, he spent 2 1/2 years in the European theater,and was employed by the Manitowoc County Highway Department.
He married the former Vivian Stuiber, April 21, 1946.
He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Michael Parish, and ofthe Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cato Post No. 6179.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, (private); two sons, (private); four brothers, Harold and Donald of Manitowoc, Francis of Milwaukee and Alfred of Port Washington; on sister, Mrs. Claude Anhalt of Reedsville; and his parents.
Goehring, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goehring, was born on the homefarm in the Town of Cato, Feb. 11, 1934.
He is also survived by four brothers, and one sister, (private).
