ASA IVAN JOHNSON, age 65 of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at his residence. Asa was born on May 6, 1947 in Danville, Illinois and was a resident of Alvin since 1960, formerly of Hardy, Arkansas. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a pipefitter and a member of the Pentecostal faith. Asa was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan Frederick and Caroleen Johnson.
Asa is survived by his wife, Vicki Mercer Johnson, daughter, Patricia "Patti" Faye Beebe and husband, George "Richy" Beebe of Alvin, Texas, son, Asa Kirby Johnson of Alvin, Texas, sisters, Joellen Smith and husband, Richard of Alvin, Texas, Joann Johnson and Billy Wichkoski of Holiday Lake, Texas, Violet Johnson and husband, Roger of West Columbia, Texas, Daisy Johnson and Mike Patillo of Orange, Texas, half brother, Jerry Cooper and wife, Donna of Danville, Illinois, grandchildren, Braedon Johnson, Jacob Johnson, James "Kody" Warren, Garrett Warren, Holley Beebe, Mallorey Beebe, Joseph Beebe, Cordale Beebe, great granddaughter, Kieghly Marie Beebe, numerous other relatives and friends.
