She was born May 15, 1935 in Frankenthal, Germany to the late Heinrich & Elsa (Hoff) Berger.
She graduated from Frankenthal High School in Germany in 1953.
On January 16, 1959 she married Wayne Joniaux.
Agnes worked at the former Leverenz Shoe Company in New Holstein from 1973-1979. She worked at the New Holstein High School as a Library Aide from 1979-1999.
She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in New Holstein. Agnes was a member of the Chancel Choir at the church and belonged to the Women's Fellowship.
Survivors include her two sons, Darren (Lynn) Joniaux of Kiel and Eric Joniaux of New Holstein; three grandchildren, Brad, Trevor and Samantha; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Cheryl (Larry) Pleau of Green Bay. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; two sisters, Ria and Elsa and her brother.
Burial will be in the Eaton Union Cemetery in the Town of Eaton.
