Mr. William L. Ruh, 82, of 1500 North 3rd St., Manitowoc, died Monday, November 12, 1990 at Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 9, 1908, in New Holstein, son of the late John and Mary Schnuell Ruh. He attended schools in Schleswig.
He married Adeline Freis November 19, 1932 in Cleveland, Wisconsin.
The couple resided there where he was employed with the August Schmidt Mason Contractor. The couple then came to Manitowoc in 1940 where he was then employed with the Huebner Corporation for 22 years, ACE Construction Company and later for 2 years with Hamann Construction Company as a Carpenter. He retired in 1973. Following his retirement he worded for Carey VW Mazda Inc. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1982.
Survivors include his wife, Adeline of Manitowoc; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jacob and Bernadett Ruh of Sheboygan, Otto and Hilma of Elkhart Lake, John Jr. and Clarabelle of Brillion.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred and a sister, Anita.
Funeral services will be at Bethany Lutheran Church with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum.
