...She remarried to Raymond Brown on May 7, 1996 and they moved to Logan, New Mexico. He died on September 23, 2007. Ruby and Raymond had many happy years together in Logan. Ruby moved to Alpine, Texas for a while after Raymond's death and then returned to Logan, New Mexico to live the remaining years of her life. She passed away on August 14, 2008 at the age of 95 years.
...Ruby was always an active, cheerful person who liked to visit and play cards. "Spite" and "Malice" were some of her favorite card games. She was still riding a bicycle and taking walks up into her 80's. She also enjoyed dancing with Raymond at the Senior Center.
...She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her stepson, David Brown and his family. She will also be missed dearly by all of her many nieces and nephews on the Staples, McAdams, and Brown families.
