Mrs. HARRY M. WHITE
Mrs. Dora R. White, 81, widow of Harry M. White, died Saturday at Putnam Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Shaftsbury, born May 11, 1883, daughter of Clark and Sarah (Fisher) Bartlett.
She was formerly active in Miriam Lodge of Rebekahs and was a member of the Baptist Church in North Bennington. Her husband died in 1960.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. William Mercier and Mrs. Cora St. Clair of Bennington, and Mrs. Hannah Baldwin and Mrs. Nellie Madden of New York state.
Friends may call today at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Alfred Scott, North Bennington Baptist Church pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
