CSA veteran- son of William and Nancy Brannon Austin- There is a question involving the 1870 Walton County Census for Lucy Patrick ( age 78) that lists O.D. Austin (10)and Sanders Austin(14) and then Oscar's death info lists father as William and mother as Mary Patrick- I believe this is error.Maybe Drucilla was having birthing issue/ health problems or they were helping grandmother. 1860 William and Drucilla with children- Marion 6- James 4- William 2- Lucy 10/12, 1910 Drucilla/William living with daughter Emma Glock in Walton County/ 1920 William is widow in Walton County.Gail Hannah 47186089

Another William Austin married Lucy Patrick on 11/11/1852 in Walton Co., GA
