Alva A. Abbott, 75, son of a pioneer Colfax family, died in Turlock, Calif., where he had made his home for 40 years.

He married Alice Iona (Groom) on 2 Sep. 1914 in Colfax.

Mr. Abbott is survived by his wife, Iona Abbott, and three sons, Milton, Al, and Glen, all in California; two brothers, Ellis Abbott of Colfax and Lee Abbott of Conrad, Mont; one sister, Mrs. Mae Smith of Spokane, and five grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Colfax cemetery on Mondy morning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Ralph Mader will officiate.
