She was the eldest of four children of James Granville and Alma Johnson Granville, and the widow of Bennie Aaron. She was born in Darlington SC. in 1953 she moved to New Haven and retired from Yale New Haven Hospital asa Housekeeping Supervisor. She was a member of the Fatih Apostolic Tabernacle,Inc.
