Chloe was our wonderful fun loving dog. She was part Dobi part Italian Greyhound. She loved to run and the only dog who could outrun her at dog beach was a full blooded grey hound. Chloe was so well trained that we never needed to put a leash on her we always took it with us, just in case...... Chloe got along well with other animals, especially our cats. She had an unusual relationship with our male cat, Tigger. They would play , sleep and eat together. Every night before bed Chloe would go out one last time and she had this habbit of running around our house 3 times before coming in. We started calling her "Speed Racer" it was so funny to watch.
Sadly on Sunday July 25th 1999 as my husband was talking Chloe for her morning walk a taxi cab came speeding down our street, the speed limit was 10 they were doing 45. The cab hit Chloe, she did manage to crawl out and my husband picked her up and carried her home. Chloe died lying on my couch, we took her to the animal ER where they creamated her. Her ashes were taken to the SPCA in Largo and scattered in their memory garden.

Sadly Chloe was MURDERED by a careless cab driver. We did contact the cab company and got them to pay for Chloes creamation. I'd much rather had Chloe alive but at least they paid.
