Helen J. Schaefer, 92, of 1807 Emmet Street in Two Rivers, died Friday evening, March 16, 1990, at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
She was born January 24, 1898, in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee County, daughter of the late John and Emma (née Krase) Martin.
She married William H. Schaefer Sr. on December 12, 1923, at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death in 1985.
She was a member of St. John Ladies Afternoon Society and the Two Rivers Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, William Jr. and Jacqueline Schaefer, John and Kathleen Schaefer and Robert Schaefer, all of Two Rivers; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Royal and Lydia Schaefer of Sumner, Washington; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive.
She was preceded in death by her step mother, Minnie Martin; a brother, Carl Martin and an infant sister, Lillie.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran church, Two Rivers, with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum.
