CLIFFORD C. SCHILLING

Clifford C. Schilling, 67, of 2202 Van Buren St., New Holstein, died Sunday evening, May 6, 1990 at Calumet Medical Center, Chilton.

He was born on March 5, 1923 in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, a son of the late Walter and Nellie Grabs Schilling. He attended Kiel Schools, graduating from high school in 1941. He was a draftsman at the M-B Corporation, in New Holstein for many years. He then became an inspector of Hayssen Manufacturing, in Sheboygan, retiring in 1985.

On June 10, 1950, he married Emmy Lou Fluhr at St. John’s United Church of Christ, New Holstein. Mr. Schilling was a veteran of WWII serving in the United State Army from 1943 to 1946. He served the Engineering Corp in the South Pacific Theatre.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Lou; one son, Jeff, Appleton; one daughter, Mrs. Vicki (Paul) Stierman, Appleton; two grandchildren, Jennie and Kimberly Stierman, Appleton; one sister, Mrs. Hazel (Harold) Heiner, New Holstein.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein. The Rev. Albert Borns, pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ, officiating. Entombment will be in Knollwood, Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, on Wednesday, from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
