Seaborn Jacobs, 90, of Monroeville, formerly of Tuscaloosa, Ala., chairman of Penneco Oil Co. and a well-known entrepreneur, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2013. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha, of 67 years; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his sisters, Louise and Virginia; sons, Terry (Sandy) and Darryl (Sue); grandchildren, Marc (Sheila), Matthew (Sandy), Rebecca (Joseph), Brent and Tyler; and great-grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsey, Matthew, Mitchell, Russell, Lacy, McKenzie, Maggie and Wyatt. Friends were received Tuesday at the GENE H. CORL INC. FUNERAL CHAPEL and CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (one block east of Mosside Boulevard - Route 48), where services were held Wednesday, March 20, 2013, with Pastor Grant Abe officiating.
