Charter Member of the UDC Grays of Oconee; also a member of the Seneca Literary and Civic Club, and Seneca Presbyterian Church.
She once owned and operated the Oconee Tea Room in Seneca with her sister.
Surviving her at the time of her death were her son, D.S. Abbott Jr. of Seneca; a brother, Grover Davis of Smyrna, Ga., a sister, Miss Julia Davis of Atlanta, Ga., a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
Funeral service: Sunday, January 31, 1971, Seneca Presbyterian Church.
Burial: Oconee Memorial Park.
