Helen M. Aasen, 87, Lake Geneva, died Saturday, Dec 25, 2004, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn.
She was born June 15, 1917, in Coon Valley, the daughter of Edward C. and Johanna Lomen Anderson.
She married Martin O. Aasen Aug 24, 1938, in Lake Geneva. He preceded her in death Oct 3, 1967.
She was a member of the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lake Geneva, graduated from Lake Geneva High School in 1935, and for 52 years was a secretary for Arrow Products in Lake Geneva, retiring in 2000.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Aasen, Madison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Maude Anderson; and six brothers, Alf, Oscar, Elnor, Einar, Clarence and Howard Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec 30, at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, with the Rev. James Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
