Margaret Alice Toan, aged 25, passed away Saturday morning, April 21 at the Hahneman hospital, Rochester, where she had been taken for an operation for appendicitis. Frail in health she was unable to withstand the operation and pneumonia developed which terminated fatally.
Margaret Alice Toan was born in Perry, October 6, 1897.
Besides her mother, she is survived by three brother, L.A. Toan and Carlos J. Toan of this place; Thomas Toan of Rochester and one sister Miss Mary Toan of the Niagara Falls schools. Her father Charles Toan passed away five years ago.
The funeral was held from the family home. Burial was made in Hope cemetery.
