EMILY J. BORS
Emily J. Bors, age 94, of 3400 Yorkshire Lane, Manitowoc, died Tuesday
evening, May 1, 2007, at the Aurora Medical Center of Manitowoc County.
Emily was born May 19, 1912, in the town of Cooperstown, daughter of the
late Joseph and Amelia Chvala Yindra. She attended the Green Street School
in the town of Cooperstown. On June 11, 1960, she was married to Stanley
"Tim" Bors at Waukegan, Ill. The couple lived in Chicago and Emily was
employed by the Gottlieb Manufacturing Company. The couple moved from
Chicago to Manitowoc in 1979. Tim preceded Emily in death on Aug. 28,
1988. Emily was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, the Manitowoc
Senior Center, and various card clubs in the area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one great-great-grandchild;
an infant sister; one sister: Lillian Reedy; and two brothers: Fred Yindra and Emil
Yindra.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at St. Francis
of Assisi Parish-Marshall Street Site. The Rev. Monsignor Jim Vanden Hogen will
celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at St. Wenceslaus
Cemetery, Green Street, town of Cooperstown.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the
time of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
