Mrs. Joseph Kubsh(sic), nee Anna Zeman of Maribel, died Sunday morning
after a long illness. She was 76 years old.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Husar
Funeral Home at Kellnersville and at 9:30 at St. Joseph's Catholic
church, the Rev. Joseph Kalisek officiating. Burial will be in the
Greenstreet cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home
after 6 o'clock this evening. The rosary will be recited at the
funeral home Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
Mrs. Kubsh was born in August, 1865 in the town of Cooperstown. She
was married to Joseph Kubsh in 1885. The couple farmed in the town of
Cooperstown until Mr. Kubsh's death 30 years ago. About 20 years ago
Mrs. Kubsh moved to Maribel.
Surviving Mrs. Kubsh are two sons, Michael on the home farm, town of
Cooperstown, and Frank of Maribel; two sisters, Mrs. Christina Cherney
of Chicago and Mrs. Anton Krall of Manitowoc; two brothers, Frank
Zeman of Tisch Mills and Charles Zeman of the town of Cooperstown; 15
grandchildren and eeven (sic) great grandchildren.
