Married David Dupont Beveridge January 19, 1873 in St Cloud Minnesota. She became a naturalized US citizen in 1874. 1880 US Census in Ripley Township documents Elodie's nickname "Ladie".

Their 11 children are linked below in birth order. All children were born in Ripley Township, Morrison County, Minnesota where they farmed the Beveridge land.

Elodie, "Ladie", died in the Beveridge home at only age 47. She died after 2 years 9 months and 8 days of limited life caused by the 1893 birth of her last child, David, from which she never fully recovered. Recorded Morrison County Death Index Book B Page 60 Line 8 under the erroneous name of 'Beverage'.
