ORWOOD "SCHMIDTY" SCHUMACHER
Private funeral services for Orwood "Schmidty" Schumacher, 69, will be held Friday at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Entombment will follow. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Schumacher, who died Tuesday at Greendale Health Care Center, was born Sept. 3, 1916, in Sheboygan, the son of the late Oliver and Adelia Withmannin Schumacher.
On March 12, 1960, he was married to Armida Sixel at St. Mark United Church of Christ in the Town of Mosel.
Mr. Schumacher was manager of Levco Shoe Outlet in Sheboygan for 14 years, retiring in 1981. He also worked at Brockmann Meat Market as a meatcutter.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James of Route 2, Elkhart Lake; two grandchildren; and a brother, Donald of La Mesa, Calif.
Mr. Schumacher was preceded in death by a son.
