Aaron David Stidham, 55, Red Bay, Ala., died Monday, March 4, 2002, at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, Ala. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Pilot Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Pilot Hill Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Tom Scott. He was a native of Alabama and was preceded in death by his father, Travis Stidham in 2001. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stidham, Red Bay, Ala.; three daughters, Sonya Justice and husband, John Justice, Huntsville, Ala., Ericka Joy Ashford and husband, Mickey Ashford, Florence, Ala., and Nicole Stidham, Red, Bay, Ala.; his mother, Violet Stidham, Hamilton, Ala.; a sister, Shirley Comer, Highland Park, Ill.; a brother, Eugene Stidham, Hamilton, Ala.; five grandchildren, Ashley Justice, Aaron Justice and Addison Justice, all of Huntsville, Ala., and Britney Ashford and Drew Ashford, both of Florence, Ala. Pallbearers will be Justin Pharr, Roy Lee Hester, Theron McKinney, Tony Wood and Norris Hammock. Deaton Funeral Home, Red, Bay, Ala., is directing.
