He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Studstill West and his son John Hill West, Jr. M.D., and daughter-in-law Sherrod Walker West; grandson, John Hill West III; grandaughters, Stephanie West Tipton, and Susanna West Bray. Six Great grandchildren, Kyle John West and Joseph Trevor West;Callie McClain Tipton; Walker Jonathan Bray, Margaret Ila Bray and Matthew Maxwell Bray.
