MB Daniel, 79, of Muncie, IN, passed away on Tuesday at Albany Health Care, after an extended illness. He was born in Livingston, TN, the son of William Herbert and Helen (Clark) Daniel.
He married Betty L. Reason on May 8, 1948 and she preceded him in death in April of 2007. MB retired from Durham Manufacturing Company in 1974.
Surviving relatives include his son, Charley Daniel (Judy); a daughter, Mary Daniel Swartz (Danny); three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Daniel; parents, William and Helen Daniel; brothers, Floyd, Alfred, Lewis A., Wesley R.D., and Earlen; sisters, Audrey Mae Daniel Logan, Esther Daniel, Florence Daniel Conner, and Dorothy Lee Daniel Maynard.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Garden View Funeral Home, Muncie, with Pastor Trimble officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
