Born Jan. 20, 1934, in Wilkes Barre, he was a son of the late David and Bertha Fritz Reese.
Mr. Reese was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the Army Airborne Division; and had been employed with local contracting companies.
Surviving are three sons, Mark Reese of Bradford and David and Dale Reese of Olean, New York: a sister, Mrs. Gerry Skinner of Olean, and several nieces and nephews.
Dave suffered from alcoholism. It was reported that he committed suicide by hanging after being arrested. Those closest to him find this difficult to believe. His body was cremated and his ashes buried on the grave of his Mother.
