Harold H. Timm, 74, of 1408 South 35th Street, Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, May 28, 1990, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum.

He was born February 14, 1916, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, son of the late Emil and Elsie Kletzien Timm. He grew up and was educated in Manitowoc. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Mr. Timm worked for Manitowoc Shipbuilding Company for nearly 40 years, retiring in April of 1980. He enjoyed fishing and listening to sports on radio and T.V. He married the former Mildred C. Korte on December 6, 1941, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran church and a retired member of Boiler Makers Union No. 443 of Manitowoc. Mr. Timm served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leanne and Lyle Schneider of Neenah, Joanne and Allan Hardtke of St. Cloud, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Kim Schneider and her finace, Jeffrey Zehren, Brett Schneider, Kari Schneider, Cory Schneider, Christopher Hardtke, Rachel Hardtke and Gregory Hardtke; a sister and a brother-in-law, Catherine and Alton Duebner of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc Lutheran High School or Holy Family Hospice. Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
