Ethel Marie Booth, 78, of Charleston went to be with her Lord Jesus on April 3, 2005, after a short illness, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Ethel lived a long, eventful life, encircled by cherished family, faith and friends, all of whom were touched in some way, large or small, by her beauty, smile and kindness. She will be sadly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey; sons, Herbert and Eddie; daughter, Brenda; sisters, Mildred and Francis; and brothers, Otis, Arvil and Arless.

Surviving are daughters and their husbands, Mary and Lee Roy Lovejoy of Winfield, Thelma and Jack Montgomery of Sissonville, Patricia Mollohan of Kanawha City and Linda Booth of St. Albans; sons and their wives, Robert Booth of Cross Lanes, Johnnie and Cindy Booth of Dunbar, Dennis and Gary Booth, both of Charleston, and Glen and Michelle Booth of Cross Lanes; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
