She was born Helen (or Helene) on January 2, 1927, in Montreal, Canada, daughter of the late Antonio and Fleur-Ange (née Dandurand) Frederick.
She married William Tkacz on June 23, 1949, at St. Ailbe Catholic Church, Los Angeles, California. He was born 19 February 1919; death unknown.
She was a member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church.
