Lucille Merry Trippler, age 88, joined her siblings in peace at Northridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc on Monday, Sept. 3, 2001.
Lucille grew up and was educated at Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was employed as a manager at the Strand Theater before moving to Villa Park Ill. With her sister Alice and family. She worked there for 20 years before coming back to Manitowoc to finish her career at Schuette Brother Department Store. Lucille enjoyed cooking and baking and sharing that bounty with many friends at Meadowbrook Apartments.

Survivors include nephews: Richard (Pat) Essermann, Townsend, Wis.; Randy Trippler and Fred Trippler, both Manitowoc; Brucie (Carron) Brennan and John (Rita) Brennan of Villa Park, Ill. Nieces include: Sue (Conrad) Bartell, Manitowoc; Carol (Al) Stadler, rural Mishicot. Further survived by grand and great-grand-nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Adelaide (Mrs. Arthur) Essermann, Alice (Mrs. Charles) Brennan and Clarice Trippler; and a brother and a sister-in-law,: Frederick (Joann) Trippler.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Northridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center for the care and concern given to Lucille during her 16 months stay. Lucille says to all who knew her that "we will meet again in a better place." Private inurnment of her cremated remains will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is serving the family.
