She was born June 20, 1924, at Whitelaw, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John Grall and Anna Grimm Sickinger Grall. Germaine grew up at Whitelaw attending St. Michael Catholic grade school. She was married to Anthony E. Tuschl November 15, 1941, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. He preceded her in death October 8, 1995. Germaine and her husband farmed on the John Grall farm in Whitelaw, retiring in 1981. She is a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and Christian Mother's Society.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Karin Tuschl, Cato, Kenneth and Jeannie Tuschl, Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Paul Skatrud, Greenwood, Ind.; six grandchildren, Dale Tuschl, Rhonda Carriveau, Jonathon Tuschl and his wife Brenda, Joshua Tuschl, Geoffrey Koch, Hillary Koch; three step-grandchildren, Pamela and her husband Michael Emme, Melissa and her husband David Schultz, Paul Pokorski and his wife Lynn; four great-grandchildren, Dalton Tuschl, Kira Schultz, Mariah Emme, Ezra Emme; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Also surviving Germaine are one half brother, Ralph (Naomi) Sickinger, Milwaukee; and three half sisters: Mayme Pfeffer of Manitowoc, Beatrice Kiel of Whitelaw, and Lucille Fanslau, Manitowoc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; also half-brothers and -sisters, Frank Grall, John Grall, Lawrence Grall, Edmund Grall, Florian Sickinger, Gerhard Sickinger, Martin Sickinger, Ervin Sickinger, Sr. Mary Bertelia, Barbara Herman, Sarah Helgeson.
Funeral Services will be held at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville,and at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw, with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, township of Kossuth. Memorials will be appreciated to St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw.
