Kenny Smith was a good friend of mine. We first met going to Waukena Community Church in the early seventies. We both started kindergarten at Waukena Elementery School in the fall of 1972. We graduated Waukena in June 1981, after we graduated, went to two different high schools. He graduated from Corcoran high school in 1985. We surprisingly bumbed in to each other at grad night at Disneyland. Later Kenny played on our city league volleyball team, as he was a great volleyball player. I had not seen Kenny for several years until I found out he had past away of complications of AIDS,nine days before his 25th birthday. He was a good guy and will be missed by many.
