Lorraine R. Voigt, age 76, formerly of 2350 S. 234d St, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, July 2, 1997, at the North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 4, 1997, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Steve Olson will officiate and entombment will follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum.
She was born February 17, 1921, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Elder and Ellen Teteak Wetenkamp. She was a lifelong Manitowoc resident and graduated with the class of 1939 from Lincoln High School.
She married Harvey L. Voigt March 6, 1946, in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death May 9, 1974.
Lorraine had been employed by the Mirro Aluminum Company from 1968 to 1983 when she retired. She was a member of the First Lutheran Congregation, the Wisconsin Czech Club, and Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a special friend, Caroline Alfson, Valders; two special cousins, Germaine Jarosh and Ruthaleen Mleziva, both of Manitowoc; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant brother, a special God-daughter, Penny Alfson, and a special friend, Lawrence Alfson.
Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, or the donors choice. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. Friday, July 4, 1997, until the time of service.
