Former Resident Dies At Sheboygan
A native of the Town of Schleswig, Edward J. Mueller, 66, Sheboygan, was dead on arrival at St. Nicholas hospital, Sheboygan early Monday evening. He had been stricken with an apparent heart attack at home
Funeral services are being held today, Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, with the Rev. H. G. Messmer, pastor, celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Trinity cemetery.
Mr. Mueller had retired only last Friday from Verifine Dairy Products Company. He had been living with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Thiel, since the death of his wife in April, 1950.
He was born March 15, 1901, a son of the late Peter and Mary Mutz Mueller.
He attended the Holy Trinity Catholic school and married Mary Binversie May 16, 1922, in Holy Trinity Church.
The couple farmed near School Hill until 1947 when they moved to Sheboygan, where Mr. Mueller took employment that year in the Verifine Plant. He had been doing maintenance work most recently.
He was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Parish, Sheboygan, and Holy Trinity, along with the Holy Name Society.
