Henry (Jay) J.P.Graebner II of Dexter, Michigan, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013, at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. Age 59 years.

The son of the late Clarence and Natalie (Popp) Graebner was born March 30, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Nancy K. Lich, May 1, 1993. She survives him.

He retired as a partner in Area Independent Underwriters (formerly VanAuken-Graebner-Mason Insurance Agency). He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dexter. When in Saginaw, Jay was active in the community, including the Fordney Club and the Gun Club. He was an avid golfer, loved Corvette cars, and spending time at Pt. Lookout.

Jay and Nancy had lived in Greenville, South Carolina for eight years until moving to Dexter in 2012.

Surviving besides his wife, Nancy, are a sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Randy Davis, Saginaw, MI; two nieces and a nephew, Natalie Davis, Ft. Myers, FL; Ashleigh Mantalvanos and her husband (Ari), Naples, FL; Brent Davis and his fiancé, Jennifer Wideman, Saginaw, MI; a great niece, Arianna Mantalvanos.

He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Jim Graebner, his step-mother, Iris (Ann) Graebner, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jacob E. and Anna Mae (Liebrock) Lich.

The funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 415 S. Court St, AuGres, MI. Rev. James Falsey will officiate with burial in Sims-Whitney Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Chelsea Community Hospital, 775 S.
