Age 83, of Somersworth - passed away at Dover Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She attended Rollinsford Grade School and graduated from Dover High School; Class of 1947. She then attended the Wentworth Hospital School of Nursing; Class of 1950 as a Registered Nurse. She continued to work at WDH, retiring in 1982. She primarily worked as a Maternity Nurse. Throughout her working years, Thelma helped deliver the babies of many of her family and friends. She lived in Rollinsford most of her life, moving to Somersworth in 1990.
Sister of Robert "Bud", Gloria, Mabel, Gladys, Lorraine, and Marylin.
Predeceased by her husband Whitcomb Toof (d. January of 2000), her parents William A. and Mable S. (Upham) Hamilton, her brothers William and Winthrop Hamilton, and her sisters June (Hamilton) Lasvasseur and Barbara (Hamilton) Sampson.
