Carol M. Voss, age 61, of Cleveland, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan.
She was born Oct. 7, 1943, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Anna Krizek Mahloch.
On Sept. 26, 1969, she married Robert F. Voss in Illinois. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2000. Carol was employed as a group leader at Rietschle - Thomas Industries. She was also a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community.
Survivors include four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Georgia and Vern Kohlbeck of Manitowoc, Gen and Joe Dyzbalys of St. Nazianz, Karen and Dave Carstens of Manitowoc and Mary Mahloch of Mississippi; and five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Jerome Mahloch of Manitowoc, Jerald and Kay Mahloch of Cato, John and Jeanette Mahloch of Manitowoc, Joe and Bonnie Mahloch of Newton and Jeff Mahloch of Arizona. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Selma Voss.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home in Manitowoc where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by the Rev. David Beaudry. The visitation will continue on Friday, June 24, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community in Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center in Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
Gertie will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, and her laugh will always be carried with us in our hearts.
