Donald died Thursday of wounds suffered in combat in the central highlands of Vietnam. He lived at 3517 Madison Place, West Hyattsville Maryland. He was born in Washinton, attended Northwestern High School. He was drafted in June of 1965, went through basic training at Fort Jackson South Carolina and received guerilla training at Fort Lewis, Washington. He left for Vietnam last July and was assigned to the 4th Infantry Division of the 1-22 Battalion A Company.
Survived by his mother, Olive Quillen and his step-father, Marion Quillen, and a brother Frank Dorman, of West Hyattsville Maryland.
Donald died in combat along with 20 of his fellows soldiers on February 16, 1967 while on a search and destroy mission along the Cambodian Border.∼A CO, 1ST BN, 22ND INFANTRY, 4TH INF DIV
