Mildred McReynolds, age 73, Medicine Lodge, died Monday, February 28, 2005 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. McReynolds was born December 29, 1931 at Imboden, AR, the daughter of Albert Robert and Bessie Annie (Dunham) Riggs.
She worked for Lear Jet at Wichita. She was a member of the Coldwater Christian Church, Coldwater and was an avid bingo player. On January 7, 1950 she married Fred Beatty at Greensburg. He died April 28, 1975, and on November 14, 1971 she married Charlie McReynolds.
She is survived by three daughters, Ann Shetler of Medicine Lodge, Carol Cross of Eastlake, OH, Janice Baker of Wellington, Kansas; two sons, Ron "Ned" Beatty of Sharon, Kansas, Robert Beatty of Cheney, Kansas; four sisters; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 3, 2005 at First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Tom Walters and Gale Cocaounner officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home. Larrison Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
