Raymond F. Zimmer, 66, of 1711 Meadow Brook Dr., Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning, October 28, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Zimmer will officiate at the mass of Christian Burial and entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Zimmer was born Aug. 20, 1916, at Manitowoc, son of the late Frank and Anna Koerner Zimmer.
He married Emily Micholek Sept. 11, 1937 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
He had been a manager for the A and P Company in various cities in Wisconsin for 42 years, retiring in 1976. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Emily, a daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Norman Bohl of Menomonie Falls; a sister, Mrs. Helen Hooper of Manitowoc and three grandchildren, Edward, Steven and Suzanna Bohl.
Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be conducted at 8 p.m. by Father Zimmer.
