Burneda June Baird, 87, of Rossville died at 8:35 p.m. Monday (March 25, 2013) at home.
She was born Burneda June Kelley on March 6, 1926, the daughter of Clarance "Buck" and Bessie Green Kelley.
She married Joe Baird shortly before he was sent out to Germany during World War II, and they had two children, Carol and Greg. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Boose; her parents; two sisters; five brothers and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by one son, Greg (Cathy) Baird; eight sisters, Lorraine McBeath, Vicky Kelley, Peg (Bob) Clem, Sally Goodwin, Glela Dalrymple, Wanda (Carl) Thompson, Darlene Davis and Karen (Don) Meador; one brother, Steve (Sharon) Kelley; three grandsons, Mike Boose, Greg Baird Jr. and Bill Baird; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
