Sarah Edith Barnett

Sarah Edith Barnett was born Aug. 6, 1922, to Bonnie Lee Crook Howell and Burrell Howell of Grayson County, Texas, and passed away Monday, March 25, 2013, from complications of advanced Alzheimer's disease. Her family called her Edie and she was the second oldest of five siblings, Marie Langford, Raymond Howell, Dorothy Marshall, and Bonnie Jo Gleaves.

Edith is survived by her sister, Rev. Dorothy Marshall; her only child, Bettye Breckenridge and husband Ken; grandchildren, Brett Breckenridge, and Vance Breckenridge and wife Sheila; great grandchildren, Morgen, Chase, Jacob, Kaden, and Haley.

Graveside service and internment will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 11 a.m. at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
