The son of Doug Herman and Olie Crawford Herman, Doug was a lifetime resident of Soper, Oklahoma. His life was spent on his ranch in Soper tending cattle, family and friends. All who knew him, loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Herman, son, Floyd (Kitten) Herman and daughter, Norma Carter. Also 3 brothers and three sisters, Vylas Herman, Wayne Herman, Earl Herman, Clydene More, Osteen Hill, and Imogene Hill.
Survivors include one son, Martin Herman of Hugo; two daughters, Louise Fuller of Soper, and Ramona Waugh of Tulsa; 15 grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren. Two sisters; Marie Cervi and Arlina (Jo) Looney both of Norman, Oklahoma.
