Mrs. Julia Altee Adams, widow of the late F. M. Adams of Adamsburg, died at her home yesterday afternoon and the funeral services were held at Philipi Church today at 11 o'clock.
She was 60 years of age and is survived by the following children: J. H. Adams, L. F. Adams, D. F. Adams of this county; and W. H. Adams and R. S. Adams of Virginia; and on daughter, Mrs. Louis Scales of Adamsburg and four brothers, the Rev. C. C. Vaughan of Darlington, Ebb Vaughan, W. M. Vaughan and J. T. B. Vaughan of this county.
Mrs. Adams was a woman possessed of Christian graces and was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
